Directions:  Take the HH Hwy exit off Hwy 171 (Carterville) - between Webb City and Carthage.  Gravel Road is the sevice drive on the North side of the highway.)


Chili Cook-Off


(Members are bringing a crockpot of their best chili, other members are bringing the sides and toppings.  There will be "celebrity" judges as well as voting by the membership.  Dessert, drinks and set-ups are provided by the club.)

FEBRUARY GET-ACQUAINTED COFFEE


Wednesday, February 8th at 9:30 a.m.
at La Quinta Inn, 3320 S. Rangeline, Joplin.  

A continental breakfast will be available at a cost of $4.50 per person.

Friday Febraury 17th at the home of a member.  We will gather about 12:30 p.m.  Play begins at 1:00 p.m.  Cost to play is $3.

Sunday, February 5th at the home of a member.  Kick-off is at 5:30 p.m. - the group will gather at 4:30 p.m.  Bring your favorite tailgate food to share.  Event is also BYOB.

Tuesday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Spiva Center for the Arts (Board Room), 3rd and Wall Street, Joplin. 

Book selection is "State of Wonder" by Ann Patchett.

Canasta will meet Monday, February 13th at the home of a member. 
The group gathers at 12:00 p.m for a brown bag lunch - hostess provides drinks and dessert.  Play begins at 12:30 p.m.

  Coming in late March a day trip to Bentonville, AR to go to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.  Admission is free.  The group will have lunch at a local eatery.
