Theme:  "Amazing Race"

Program:  "2 for 2" - members may bring 2 pictures of their favorite travel destinationa and may speak for 2 minutes about them.  Airport Manager Steve Stockam will lead the group on a tour of the new airport facility following this portion of the program.

 

Reservations will be needed for September-May luncheons.

• FEBRUARY GET-ACQUAINTED COFFEE

  February will feature and afternoon tea from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

• BOARD MEETING:

• OUT-TO-LUNCH BUNCH:
  Wednesday, February 3 at El Charro, 2707 E. 32nds Street, Joplin.  We will meet there at 11:00 a.m.

• BUNCO:   

Friday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the home of a member.
Bring $3.00 and a covered dish.  A potluck lunch will be shared at 11:30 p.m.  Play will begin at 12:30 p.m.  Those who wish to share lunch - please bring a dish to share and $3.  Those who choose only to play bunco can join the group with their $3 at 12:15 p.m.   E-mail for information and/or directions.

Group meets the first Friday of the month, 10:30 a.m.
at  First Presbyterian Church, 5th and Pearl St.

• SUPER BOWL PARTY

Will be held Sunday, February 7 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the home of a member.  This event is open to all couples and singles.  Bring your favorite tailgate snack and BYOB.

• CANASTA:

Canasta will meet Monday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the home of a member.   Please e-mail for more information. 



• PINOCLE:
  
  Friday, February 12 at 12:00 p.m. in a member's home.  Group has a brown bag lunch at 12:00 p.m. and then plays pinocle.  Hostess provides drinks and dessert.  Bring $2.  E-mail for information/directions.
  
  

• Intro to Mah Jong
  
  Wednesday, February 3 at 12:30 p.m. in the home of a member.  A second meeting will be Monday, February 15, 12:30 p.m. - also in the home of a member.    Please call or e-mail for information and directions.
  
  

• Dinner Group (Out to Dinner, Dinner In, Game Night etc.)
  
      A evening event for all couples and singles is being planned for later in the spring.  This dinner (held in the home of a member) will be "Dinner Impossible."  Watch for details to come.
